It comes in Multi Colour and Yellow and within in the J Braid X4 range has spools from 135m, 270m and 500m, These lengths mean there is a Daiwa j Braid to fill almost every sipn reel on the market, From Daiwa Exceler LT to the Daiwa Saltiga Dogfight 8000, and all Shimano and Penn Spin reels. The Daiwa Braid Grand is made from an advanced new raw material (IZANAS) premium 8-strand PE  fibres making thenew J-Braid Grand is J-Braid the strongest, most abrasion resistant line Daiwa have ever made. Not only is J Braid Grand more abrasion resistant than other braided lines, J-Braid Grand has a best-in-class short pitch fibre construction that significantly reduces line damage and failure to dramatically increase abrasion resistance and straight-line pulling strength. Like J Braid 8 the Grand line also an 8 ply and the main difference is in the quality of the fibre used. Daiwa were the worlds first to develop a 12 ply braid ad due to the 12 ply EX Braid it is smoother than any other, due to the fibres being so closely woven makes the Saltiga 12 very round and this combined with the smoothness allows for minimal water penetration and ultimately makes Daiwa Saltiga EX Super PE Braid one of the finest casting braids in the world. Saltiga 12 braid is also colour coded every 10m and market every 1 and 5 meters so if it is jigging you want to do then it is well suited to it too.

Daiwa J-Braid Hollow- Daiwa J-Braid hollow core is now more in demand then ever with the new IGFA regulations coming in to place, at otto's we use and recommend the J-Braid Hollow no only for backing on smaller Game fishing reels such as Saltists, Saltiga overheads but large game reels like Shimano Tiagra's, Tld and Shimano Tyrnos and is one of the best lines to use on Shiamno talica 50's when backing you need a good line for swordfish.
