This combo is ideal for chasing Snapper, Smaller Kingfish and Mulloway on soft plastics. Daiwas TD Zero rods are built off a lightweight yet strong blank, coming in at 7ft4 you will be able to get a long cast, even with lightly weighted jig heads. The TD Black has good sealing and can handle spray which frequently occurs whilst offshore fishing, it is important to have a well sealed reel when fishing offshore as they will last you longer, additionally if water gets into the drag cap the washers can corrode resulting in a sticky drag system. The reel has a smooth drag system which reduces the likelyhood of you pulling hooks on fish
