This combo is designed for most inshore snapper work and will also double up as a good lure rod for chasing Mulloway (jewfish) in the harbours and estuaries. The rod is a Daiwa TD Hyper 701MFS and is a 3-7kg rod with a 7-21g cast weight making it perfect for light plastics fishing the shallows and will still cast a 1oz Jighead when the wind or current isnt working to your advantage. The TD Hyper rod is a robust rod that is quite sensitive and physically light weight, the reel is the Daiwa Legalis 4000 and will come spooled with 150m of Daiwa J Braid X4 20lb.
