Lures for Whiting and Bream, Topwater Poppers and Stickbaits 

Fishing Whiting and Bream in the summer months on topwater is such a great fun way to watch them, you can walk the flats get some sun and get a great feed while you at it. They are surprisingly aggressive surface feeding fish when you put the right lure in front of them, when there are whitting around don't pause when you see them chasing as they will shy away when the lure stops moving. When it comes to bream they will sometimes shy away if they miss the lure and a long pause when you see a boil behind the lure often has them come back for a second strike.  Keep in mind though that the Whiting and bream topwater lures that will catch the most fish are very light 3-5g so you do need the right Combo to fish the lures, throwing these lures on thick monofilament line or Fibrerglass rods will produce more frustration than fish. In this pack, we will give you a good variety of poppers and stick baits in colours that we ourselves have had plenty of success on. When Chasing Whiting on topwater lures be sure to find shallow bays and river edges, you want to be fishing water no deeper than 1.0m for the best success on Bream and 0.5m for whitting.
